Do you have a beautiful stainless steel sink or other that is clogged up? Do you need to know how to Unclog a Kitchen Sink? Then read on and find out more about how you can do this.

We can help! All you have to do is follow these simple instructions and you can find out how to fix a sink clog three different ways.

1. If you're in a hurry, you can use a plunger to fix a sink. All you do is fill up your sink to the middle with hot water, and then you can put the plunger over the clog, and move it up and down until you get rid of the clog.

2. If, for some odd reason, you are without a plunger, you can use baking soda and vinegar to fix your sink. All you do is get rid of any water in your sink, and then you can put a cup of baking soda in your drain (push it down good).

Then, you'll pour a cup of vinegar down the drain, and then you'll let it sit for about five minutes.

3. These two above ways will probably (more than likely) get rid of the clog in your sink, and they have been proven about 75% effective when removing a clog.

However, if you still have a clog, you may use a cable pipe to remove the clog from your drain.

You can do this relatively easily, and you shouldn't have any trouble with this last method either.

Read on to find out more about how you can remove a clog by using a cable pipe, one that is made to help you get rid of the clog.

4. To use a cable auger in your drain, first of all open the cabinet underneath your sink, and then put a bucket under the pipes. Capture any water that might drain out.

Then, you'll detach or unhook the trap that captures all the "junk" that comes down the pipes. It is a curved pipe, and you should unhook it yourself.

If you have any PVC pipes down there, open them and take them off by hand. If you can't do this using your hands, then use a wrench.

Finally, once you open the pipes, pour the water from the pipes into the bucket. Then, check the pipes and the trap for clogs, and be sure you clean them out as thoroughly as possible. Then, you'll put the trap back together, and finally, you'll run some hot water through the pipes.

Make sure that you run the hot water through the pipes thoroughly and for at least five or ten minutes to clean out the trap as thoroughly as you possibly can. Finally, you'll move on to the clog, as mentioned below.

  • check
First, you'll take out the horizontal pipe that hooks the pipe into the wall
  • check
Then, you'll pull out about 18 inches of cable, and you'll tighten the screw
  • check
Then, turn the handle clockwise, and make sure the auger goes deeper into the pipe

This method has been shown about 100% effective in removing clogs, but only if done correctly, so be sure you get it right! Once you get the auger hooked to the clog, you can pull it out.

You'll turn on the hot water again and make sure the clog drains out. It should, this time. If for some reason, the clog doesn't empty out and resolve itself, try using the plunger again. This should easily remove the clog this time.

As you can see, there are a few different ways of removing a clog from a drain. You can use the various methods so that you can make sure you get rid of your clog, and the most effective, which weighs in at 100%, is the auger pipe that should remove the clog easily, without any trouble.
